Front End Software Engineer (React / TypeScript)

We're looking for a Front End Software Engineer who cares about clean, fast, accessible user interfaces. You'll turn designs into polished product experiences and work closely with designers and backend engineers in the DC area.

What you'll do

• Build responsive web applications in React and TypeScript
• Translate Figma designs into reusable, well-tested components
• Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Improve performance, accessibility (WCAG), and front end test coverage
• Contribute to the shared component library and design system

What you bring

• 3+ years of professional front end development
• Strong React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with state management (Redux, React Query, or similar)
• Testing experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright
• Nice to have: Next.js, Storybook, accessibility audits

Compensation

$115,000 to $160,000 base, depending on experience. Hybrid in Arlington, VA. No security clearance required.
