Front-End Web Developer

We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer to design and develop modern, AI-enabled user experiences for the Microsoft Office add-ins. In this role, you will build scalable micro frontend applications, create reusable UI components, and integrate frontend solutions with APIs and AI-powered services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, accessible, and performant applications while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain micro frontend applications for the Microsoft Office add-ins.

• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components using modern frontend technologies and best practices.

• Integrate frontend applications with APIs, cloud services, and AI-powered backend solutions.

• Deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences that support AI-driven interactions and workflows.

• Ensure applications meet high standards of performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and code quality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging AI-assisted development tools, automation, and modern engineering practices.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions to drive innovation and maintainability.

Requirements

• Strong experience in TypeScript

• Experience building modern web applications and component-based user interfaces

• Experience with Web Components

• Experience with the Lit framework or willingness to learn quickly

• Understanding of frontend architecture, reusable components, and micro frontend concepts

• Experience consuming REST APIs and backend services

• Experience using Visual Studio Code for development

• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git and Azure Devops

• Experience with micro frontend architectures (preferred)

• Experience integrating applications into enterprise portals (preferred)

• Experience developing Microsoft Office add-ins (preferred)

• Understanding of authentication concepts such as OAuth and Microsoft Entra ID (preferred)

• Knowledge of accessibility and responsive design best practices (preferred)

• Familiarity with cloud-based applications and modern enterprise platforms (preferred)

• Use GitHub Copilot and other AI development tools effectively

• Collaborate with AI agents to improve productivity and code quality

• Adopt modern engineering practices combining human expertise and AI assistance
