About Terberg
Automotive
Terberg
Automotive is part of the Terberg Group, a family owned industrial group with
more than 150 years of history.
The group
operates in 14 countries from more than 40 locations and manufactures vehicles
and equipment for several industries.
Terberg
Automotive develops software for vehicles and machines used across the Terberg
Group, including waste collection trucks and terminal tractors operating in
ports and logistics facilities.
These vehicles
contain onboard computers, sometimes referred to as black boxes, that collect
data from the vehicle and its equipment.
The onboard
systems communicate with software platforms, allowing fleet managers and
operators to access vehicle information from their offices.
Examples of
information available through these applications include:
- GPS locations and vehicle movements
- Planned and completed routes
- Vehicle usage and operating hours
- Waste collection activities, including container lifting and tipping
- Route efficiency and performance
- Equipment usage
- Vehicle history and incident information
- Vehicle damage and incident locations
Customers use
this information to monitor fleets, analyse operations, plan routes and
investigate incidents.
The Frontend
Developer builds the application interfaces through which users access and
interact with this information.
Data processing,
analysis and data engineering are handled by other team members.
