We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to own the user experience at STACKONN. You’ll build fast, accessible, and polished interfaces in React/Next.js, working closely with product and design. Work style: Hybrid (3 days in-office in Lahore / 2 days remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Build reusable UI components and feature flows in React/Next.js
- Translate Figma designs into pixel‑clean, responsive interfaces
- Improve performance (Core Web Vitals), loading states, and perceived speed
- Implement robust state management and clean data fetching patterns
- Ship accessible UI (keyboard navigation, ARIA, contrast, semantics)
- Write frontend tests where it matters (component + basic e2e for key flows)
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define clean API contracts
- Track and fix UI bugs quickly, and prevent repeat issues with better patterns
- Maintain a consistent design system and keep the UI scalable
- Review code and keep frontend standards high (linting, formatting, conventions)
- 4–5+ years building production React apps
- Strong TypeScript and component design skills
- Solid knowledge of Next.js (routing, SSR/SSG, caching/revalidation, images)
- Strong CSS skills (Tailwind or modern CSS; you can build without fighting the browser)
- Experience consuming REST APIs and handling edge cases (errors, retries, partial states)
- Good understanding of performance and accessibility basics
- Familiarity with Git + PR workflow
- Ability to work with designers and product without confusion or ego
- Based in Lahore (or able to work from Lahore) and comfortable with hybrid work
- Portfolio or shipped products that prove you can deliver real UI, not demo screens
- Tailwind + component library experience
- Storybook/design system experience
- Testing experience (Playwright/Cypress) for key user flows
- Experience with animations/micro-interactions (subtle, not flashy)
- SEO basics and metadata/OpenGraph handling in Next.js
- Market‑competitive salary + performance-based growth
- Hybrid schedule (Lahore) and a team that respects focused work
- Paid leaves and paid holidays
- Medical coverage
- Learning budget (courses/books)
- A product-first culture — you’ll ship work that users actually see
