Job Description
Who We Are
Full Court Press Communications works with foundations, nonprofits, advocacy coalitions, government agencies, mission-minded businesses, and more. We help these organizations communicate about their social change initiatives, including campaigns on the environment, healthcare, housing, and homelessness. We pride ourselves on being:
Small but mighty. We are a team that takes on projects ranging from local issues in the Bay Area to nationwide campaigns.
Responsive and effective. We tell our clients what we’re going to do and we deliver.
Social change focused. We work primarily with organizations that are working on important social issues, from the environment to affordable housing.
What You’ll Do
As a Visual Storyteller you will:
Create a wide range of visual content to support our client projects, such as social media videos and graphics, websites, fact sheets, digital ads, and much more.
Contribute to the strategic direction of client projects, including by mapping and tracking client deliverables, delivering quality work product, and providing counsel and direction regarding visual elements.
Support FCP’s marketing efforts, resulting in new lead generations and strengthened connections with current and former clients. This includes managing and developing content for FCP’s website, social media channels, and email newsletters.
Contribute, as needed, to new business efforts, including adding visual elements to proposals, participating in presentations, and offering input on scoping for design-focused projects.

Who You Are and Your Keys to Success
Interested in the position? Here’s what we’re looking for:
You have 5+ years of experience as a visual designer and bring a variety of skills in graphic design, video editing, website development, and social media.

You have experience creating dynamic, video forward social media content. You can film and edit videos and understand how to grow and develop an audience on social media.
You have experience building websites in WordPress using Elementor, and can conceptualize, design, build, and maintain these sites (no coding experience required).
You have experience with design project management and can proactively map out deliverables and workflow and consistently deliver high quality visual products.
You have a natural curiosity about ongoing changes in visual storytelling, from visual and social media trends to the evolution from SEO to GEO.
In addition, you may have experience with the following (these experiences are desired but not required for the position):
Photography experience, including for professional headshots and events.

Experience with emailing marketing and segmenting.
Experience with integrating SEO/GEO into the development and maintenance of websites.
