General Summary
MajorKey Technologies is hiring a full-time Full-Stack Developer to join our Product Development team. You'll build and maintain web applications for MajorKey clients, working primarily with a Java back end and a React front end. This role works closely with internal teams and clients in a consulting capacity. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States.

You'll build and maintain web applications for MajorKey clients, working primarily with a Java back end and a React front end. This role works closely with internal teams and clients in a consulting capacity. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Java-based back-end services and APIs for client applications
- Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end features in React
- Collaborate with internal teams on software architecture and technical design
- Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and communicate technical details
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following team standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications
- Write and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional Java development experience
- Experience building front-end applications with React
- Experience with [Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, relational databases/SQL]
- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both teams and clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C# and/or Python
- Experience or knowledge of ColdFusion is a plus
- Experience with cloud based applications/platforms, e.g., AWS or Azure]
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
