What you’ll do

  • Lead design and delivery of full-stack product features, from discovery through production.
  • Build accessible, responsive interfaces using React and TypeScript.
  • Develop APIs and backend services, with a focus on correctness, maintainability, and clear contracts.
  • Model complex business workflows and data in ways that are understandable and auditable.
  • Partner with product and design to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and make practical trade-offs.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, observability, and security.
  • Review code, mentor engineers, and help establish engineering practices that support a growing team.
  • Investigate production issues and follow through on durable fixes.

What you’ll bring

  • 6–9 years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial full-stack product development.
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
  • Experience building backend APIs and services in Python or a similar language.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
  • Experience designing reliable workflows for complex business rules or data-heavy applications.
  • A track record of taking features from ambiguous requirements to production.
  • Strong testing, debugging, and code review habits.
  • Clear communication and the ability to work effectively across product and engineering.

    • Helpful experience

  • Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and cloud-hosted applications.
  • Data imports, document workflows, background jobs, or audit trails.
  • Accessibility, application security, and observability practices.
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical work across a team.
