ABOUT CAPCADE

Capcade is building the collaboration infrastructure for private markets. Fund managers, investors, and the service providers around them run their most important work across scattered tools and email threads. That work covers fundraising, due diligence, investor onboarding, post-close reporting, and structured-product programmes. We replace all of it with one secure, structured environment where people, documents, data, and tasks live in the same place.

The work our users do is high-stakes, data-heavy, and heavily regulated. They are executives at fund administrators, heads of investor relations, dealer desks at global banks, and procurement leaders at large institutions. When the product works well, billions move with more visibility and less risk.

We already have many of the best names in global finance on the platform, including hundreds of the Fortune 500. We are a team of around 50 people across seven jurisdictions. We are small enough that your work shows up the week you ship it, and the problems are real enough to keep the work hard and interesting.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our AI team and help build the AI capabilities of Capcade. You’ll turn ideas into useful product features that help customers work with information, automate tasks and make better use of their data.

Our team works with Java, Python and TypeScript, owning AI features from exploration through delivery and ongoing improvement. You’ll have room to experiment with new AI capabilities, assess where they add value and help turn them into reliable product experiences. You’ll also contribute to improvements across the wider platform.

You’ll work closely with product, QA, UX/UI and other engineering teams. You’ll do well here if you own your work end to end and are comfortable with "you build it, you run it."

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build and improve AI-powered product features, taking them from idea to delivery and ongoing maintenance
  • Explore new AI capabilities and work with product and engineering teams to identify useful applications for our customers
  • Evaluate and improve the quality, reliability and usability of AI features
  • Contribute to application and service design in a microservices ecosystem
  • Work with the team to design and launch new features, and plan releases with internal teams
  • Write clean, maintainable code and help keep applications performant, reliable and secure
  • Work alongside QA engineers, UX/UI designers, the Product Manager and other teams
  • Help improve our CI/CD pipelines, release process and build efficiency

HOW WE WILL MEASURE SUCCESS

This is what good looks like in your first six months:

  • You have shipped features end to end, including at least one AI-powered feature
  • You own a part of our engineering process, such as the release flow, build pipeline, or dependency updates, and it is visibly better than when you started.
  • The team trusts your code, your reviews, and your judgement on where AI helps and where it does not.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years of experience with Java, Spring, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and other JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
  • A solid understanding of design patterns and clean code principles.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and build tools such as GitHub Actions, Maven, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture.
  • A practical, critical approach to AI. You use AI tools in your daily work, know how to get good results from them, and recognise their limitations.
  • A collaborative way of working. You care about the whole team, not only your own tickets.
  • Good written and spoken English.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience bringing AI features into production, or with agentic frameworks.
  • Experience with observability tools and evaluation processes.
  • Scripting skills (Shell or Python) for automation.
  • Experience owning an engineering process end to end, such as a release flow, build pipeline, or dependency updates.
  • Experience with monorepos or other complex codebases.

HOW WE WORK

We work in small teams that own their features from exploration through delivery and ongoing improvement. We use AI throughout our daily work, we test ideas early, and we stay involved after launch. We hire for where someone is heading and what they have built.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A competitive salary in line with the market for this level.
  • Share Appreciation Rights, so you share in the value you help build.
  • 25 days of paid holiday, hybrid working, and the latest modern tools.
  • Regular feedback, mentorship, and real room to grow.
  • Colleagues who are good at their jobs, kind, happy to help, and have a sense of humour.

The product is growing quickly, the AI landscape moves even faster, and our users expect a lot. You will need to enjoy working in that kind of environment.

HOW TO APPLY

Send us your CV, along with a GitHub profile or examples of your work if you have them. We are especially interested in features you have taken from idea to production, and anything you have built with AI.

Our process is deliberately focused: an intro conversation with HR and a couple of deeper sessions with the people you would work with, built around real Capcade problems.

By submitting your application and CV, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection (you can find our Recruiting Privacy Policy here).
