Full Stack Developer

We are now looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to help us develop and maintain MyProdual Cloud, our cloud platform supporting device and configuration management, projects, organizations and users within the building automation ecosystem.

This is a hands-on role where you will work across our Python backend, React frontend and PostgreSQL database, taking responsibility for features from database design and API implementation all the way to the user interface, testing and release. We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding an existing application in depth, making sound technical decisions and improving the solution and its maintainability over time.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python and Flask

• Build and improve web interfaces using React, JavaScript and Redux Toolkit

• Design and maintain PostgreSQL data models, SQLAlchemy persistence and Alembic database migrations

• Develop secure authentication and organization- and role-based access control

• Maintain automated tests and troubleshoot issues across the frontend, backend and database

• Participate in code reviews, documentation and releases using Git, Docker and Bitbucket Pipelines

• Collaborate closely with development partners and product stakeholders

• Share your knowledge and help strengthen long-term technical ownership of the MyProdual platform.

What will help you succeed

We are looking for an experienced full stack developer who is comfortable taking ownership and solving problems independently.

You should have:

• Strong practical experience developing and maintaining production applications across both backend and frontend

• Deep knowledge of Python and strong experience with Flask

• Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript and React, including hooks and state management with Redux/Redux Toolkit

• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills, including relational modelling, transactions, query performance and database migrations

• Practical experience with SQLAlchemy and familiarity with Alembic

• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with OpenAPI documentation

• A solid understanding of web security, authentication and authorization

• Experience with automated testing, Git, Docker and CI/CD

• The ability to investigate unfamiliar code, solve problems independently and communicate your technical decisions clearly.

Additional strengths

Experience with Microsoft Azure and infrastructure as code is an advantage, as is using AI coding tools responsibly for implementation, refactoring, testing and documentation.

You should be able to critically review and test AI-generated changes and take full ownership of the code you deliver.
