Are you an experienced Full Stack Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and exploring new ways of building software? Are you excited about AI-powered development and agentic coding tools?

Join Ecobio's SaaS development team and help us build software that enables businesses to manage their environmental responsibilities and achieve their sustainability goals.

We're looking for a versatile and ambitious Full Stack Developer who wants to take ownership of technical solutions, influence product development, and work with modern technologies in a collaborative environment.

Why Ecobio?

At Ecobio, you'll join a small, highly skilled team where your work has a direct impact on our product and customers.

Our SaaS platform, Ecobio Manager, helps organizations manage regulatory compliance, chemical safety, risk assessments, sustainability reporting, and carbon footprint calculations. Developed in Finland and used internationally, the platform combines sustainability expertise with modern software technology.

We're continuously developing our platform, exploring AI-powered features, and adopting new approaches to software development.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll work across the entire technology stack, from cloud infrastructure and backend services to APIs and user interfaces.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SaaS solutions using .NET, C#, React, and Azure.

  • Developing and improving our Azure cloud infrastructure, databases, and integrations.

  • Designing and implementing secure, high-performing REST APIs.

  • Building intuitive user-facing features in close collaboration with our product and design teams.

  • Contributing to the development and integration of AI-powered capabilities into our SaaS platform.

  • Improving software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and modern development practices.

  • Participating in technical architecture decisions and continuously improving our development processes.

You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of technical solutions from initial design to production.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with curiosity, initiative, and a product-oriented mindset.

Technical Skills

We expect you to have solid experience in software development and a good understanding of modern cloud-based applications.

Our technology stack includes:

  • Backend: .NET, C#

  • Frontend: TypeScript, React

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure, Docker, Bicep, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Databases & Caching: Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Redis

  • APIs & Authentication: REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect

  • Development Practices: Git, CI/CD, automated testing

You don't need to be an expert in every technology listed above, but we expect you to have strong experience with .NET/C# and cloud-based software development, along with the ability to work across the full stack.

Experience with the following is considered an advantage:

  • Aurelia

  • Azure AI Search and Azure AI Foundry

  • Power BI

  • AI-powered application development and integrations

You take ownership

You enjoy solving complex technical problems and turning ideas into working software. For you a great software is about clean code, but also about usability, performance, security, and maintainable solutions.

You're comfortable taking responsibility for technical solutions, making decisions, and collaborating with others to deliver high-quality results.

You care about quality and collaboration

You write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code and understand the importance of testing and automation.

You value code reviews, knowledge sharing, and open technical discussions. You're comfortable working independently but also enjoy solving problems together with your team - developers, designers, product management and field experts. We value clear communication and the ability to explain technical solutions to different audiences.

You're excited about AI-Powered software development

We're particularly interested in developers who are curious about the future of software engineering.

We actively explore how AI and agentic development tools can improve the way we design, build, test, and maintain software.

Experience with tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot is an advantage.

You're comfortable in a dynamic environment

You can balance long-term development with occasional ad hoc tasks and enjoy working in a team where you can make a real difference.

Our team's working language is English, and you should be comfortable communicating and collaborating in English. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.

What We Offer

  • Meaningful work: Build software that helps organizations improve their environmental performance and manage sustainability requirements.

  • Real influence: Contribute to product architecture, technology choices, and development practices.

  • Modern development: Explore AI-powered development tools and contribute to innovative software solutions.

  • A skilled and collaborative team: Work closely with experienced developers, designer, and sustainability experts.

  • Flexibility: Flexible working hours and remote work opportunities.
