Full Stack Developer Intern

Job Description This is a remote position. Optivon is in search of a Full Stack Developer Intern with a strong sense of autonomy to join our Software Development team. As a member of a small development team in a fast-paced startup environment, you will play a vital role and make foundational contributions to the design, development, and testing of scalable software applications. You will gain hands on experience with production code that will impact customers interaction with our software products and have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced small company. What You’ll Do: · You’ll work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code and test web applications · Research technology concepts and work with teams to understand and resolve challenges · Improve user experience, provide elegant and performant interfaces to our product users. · Produce clean code leveraging design patterns · Participate in code reviews Requirements · At least six months of full-stack development experience · Experienced with ReactJS · Experienced with backend development using NodeJS and Express running on Heroku · Familiar with HTML/CSS/JS · Experience with GraphQL and APIs a plus · Knowledge of git: Github or Bitbucket · Ability to work remotely · Ability to conduct independent research with technical staff and subject matter experts
