About The Role

Celestix Industries is expanding its internal software development team and is looking for 5–8 hands-on Full Stack Developers to build, maintain and improve business-critical software applications used across our manufacturing and business operations.

This is primarily a full stack application development and backend development role, not a conventional website-development position.

As a Full Stack Developer / Application Developer, you will work on systems such as:

• Management dashboards
• Business reports
• ERP-related applications
• Manufacturing systems
• Inventory and purchasing applications
• Production and operations dashboards
• Internal workflow systems
• API integrations
• Data-driven business applications

We are looking for developers with strong programming fundamentals, MVC architecture, SQL databases, REST API development and backend application development experience who enjoy solving real business problems through software.

Node.js is strongly preferred and is part of the required technical skill set. PHP experience is also preferred, particularly with Laravel.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing applications from database design and backend logic to frontend interfaces, testing and deployment.

The role requires practical full stack software development skills and the ability to independently build and maintain database-driven business applications.

• Backend Development – Node.js, PHP & Laravel
• Develop applications using Node.js / Express.js.
• Work with PHP / Laravel applications.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, logging and error handling.
• Build scheduled jobs, background processes and automation workflows.
  
  

Strong backend development experience is important. Candidates with hands-on Node.js development and knowledge of PHP/Laravel will be particularly relevant.

The Full Stack Developer should understand how databases, backend applications, APIs and business interfaces work together.

• REST API Development & System Integration
• Develop and consume REST APIs.
• Integrate internal and external systems.
• Work with JSON, XML, webhooks and third-party APIs.
• Implement JWT, OAuth and API authentication.
• Troubleshoot API and data synchronization issues.
  
  

Practical experience in API development and application integration is valuable because many internal business applications exchange data with ERP systems and other software.

What We Are Looking For

We are primarily looking for strong hands-on developers, not candidates whose experience is limited to management or software architecture.

You should be comfortable taking a software requirement through the complete development process:

Database → SQL → Backend → MVC → API → Frontend → Testing → Deployment

You Should Also Be Able To

Experience developing full-stack applications, backend services, database-driven systems or business applications will be particularly relevant.

Candidates currently working as a Full Stack Developer, Full Stack Engineer, Backend Developer, Application Developer, Node.js Developer or PHP Developer may be suitable if their technical skills match the position.

Work Model & Initial Training

First 3 Months

The role will primarily be based at our manufacturing facility.

Based on performance and project requirements, developers may move to a hybrid working arrangement:

• Approximately 3 days per week working from the factory.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who can independently understand a business requirement, design the necessary database structure, write backend logic, develop APIs, create frontend interfaces and deliver a working application.

The right candidate should be comfortable working with existing codebases, solving application and database problems, improving software performance and learning new business processes.

This position is particularly suited to developers who enjoy backend development, SQL databases, API development, ERP applications and internal business software rather than working exclusively on public-facing websites.
