Koniag Technology Solutions, inc a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support KTS and our government customer. The position is remote. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

This position will be part of a team supporting a Federal client with a business and IT modernization project.
The Mid-Level Developer builds and maintains the features and functionality of the ERAS Platform. This person works across the full stack to deliver high-quality, secure, and accessible code every sprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop backend APIs using modern open-source languages such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript on cloud.gov infrastructure
- Build frontend web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React or Ember.js
- Write and maintain automated tests to achieve minimum 90% code coverage per sprint
- Ensure code meets zero linting errors and zero warnings per MDN Web Developer Guides
- Implement accessible features meeting WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA standards
- Contribute to Salesforce development components as needed
- Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding practices per OWASP and US-CERT standards
- Support integration with USDA mission systems via RESTful APIs
- Maintain and update deployment scripts and configurations as needed
- Contribute to sprint documentation, inline code documentation, and system diagrams
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Python, Ruby, or JavaScript)
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React or Ember.js preferred)
- Experience with SalesForce (preferred)
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and microservices
- Understanding of agile development practices and sprint-based delivery
- Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements
- Experience with version control using GitHub

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of software development experience, with demonstrated proficiency in both frontend and backend development
- Experience contributing to agile development teams with regular sprint deliverables
- Demonstrated experience writing unit tests and achieving high test coverage
- Experience developing or contributing to federal government software projects is preferred
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and Section 508 compliance in web applications
- Experience with Salesforce development is a plus
Certifications:
- Relevant developer certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Salesforce Platform Developer, or similar are a plus
