Full Stack Developer - Senior

About the role

The Senior Full Stack Developer owns the end-to-end software development lifecycle, building and maintaining client-side interfaces as well as server-side architecture, APIs and databases. The role is accountable for designing, developing, testing and deploying scalable web and application features across the full stack. It also covers testing, code review, troubleshooting production issues and assisting with deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The role partners with product managers, UI/UX designers and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required qualifications

Experience: [e.g., 5+ years] of professional experience in full-stack web development.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Front-End Technologies: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frontend frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
Back-End Technologies: Proficiency in server-side languages/runtimes such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or PHP (Laravel).
Database Skills: Experience working with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
Tools & Practices: Familiarity with Git/GitHub, RESTful APIs, unit testing, and Agile methodologies.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
Experience optimizing web applications for mobile responsiveness and performance.
