Experienced Full-Stack Developer

Location: Solna, Stockholm, Sweden

Start Date: 1st October 2026

End Date: 30th June 2027

Work Style: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, Hybrid (60% Office / 40% Remote)

Role Objective

Design, develop, and deliver complete end-to-end applications across frontend and backend technologies. Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, secure, and robust technical solutions. Deliver complete features from initial concept through development, testing, and production deployment. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership while collaborating closely with business, UX/UI, and engineering stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop frontend components and user interfaces using Angular.
• Develop backend services and functionality using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and optimise databases, APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Develop cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Ensure applications operate effectively across laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other supported platforms.
• Identify and resolve frontend, backend, integration, and performance issues.
• Oversee assigned development work from concept through production delivery.

Tasks

• Build scalable and maintainable application features across the full technology stack.
• Design APIs and integrations, including event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Develop and maintain microservices and distributed-system components.
• Implement CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and automated delivery pipelines.
• Develop and deploy containerised solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply security best practices and secure-coding principles throughout development.
• Create and maintain automated tests using appropriate testing frameworks and quality-assurance practices.
• Optimise application, database, and integration performance.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, business stakeholders, and technical teams on user experience, design rationale, and delivery priorities.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making.

Deliverables

• Production-ready frontend and backend application features.
• Scalable APIs, integrations, databases, and event-driven services.
• Secure, tested, and performance-optimised software solutions.
• Automated CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments.
• Technical designs, implementation documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Decision Authority / Responsibility

• Own assigned features and technical solutions from requirements analysis through production delivery.
• Recommend appropriate application, integration, cloud, and deployment approaches within the agreed architecture.
• Provide expert advice on IT solutions, technical strategy, and opportunities for improvement or optimisation.
• Lead technical discussions, identify risks, and escalate material security, quality, performance, or delivery concerns.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Six to nine years of relevant professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong frontend-development experience using Angular.
• Strong backend-development experience using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with database design, optimisation, and data-access patterns.
• Experience developing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong API-design and integration experience.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation pipelines.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of secure coding, testing frameworks, quality assurance, and performance optimisation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capability.
• Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English.
• Able to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior developers and providing technical leadership.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
• Relevant education in software engineering, computer science, IT, or a comparable discipline.
