Full Stack Engineer

I’m currently partnering with a gaming company in Brussels that is growing its engineering team, and I’m looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join them. If you enjoy building products that thousands of players use every day, this one is worth a conversation.

My client builds and operates online gaming products used by a large player base. The engineering team is product-focused and works across the full stack, with real ownership over what gets shipped.

You’ll work on both the backend and frontend of player-facing products and the platform behind them. You’ll be involved from design through to release, working closely with product, design and fellow engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and maintaining backend services in Java and Spring
• Developing responsive, high-quality frontends in TypeScript and React
• Designing APIs and integrating services across the platform
• Taking features from concept to production, including testing and monitoring
• Improving performance, reliability and code quality
• Sharing knowledge and contributing to technical decisions within the team

What You’ll Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring
• Solid experience with TypeScript and React
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• A pragmatic, quality-minded approach to engineering
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Fluent English (other languages are a bonus)

Nice to Have

• React Native
• Node.js
• Pixi.js or other 2D rendering/game frontend technology
• .NET
• A genuine interest in gaming
