We're an insurtech on a mission to enable the safe adoption of autonomous technology. Our end-to-end digital insurance platform serves specialist markets, including aviation and drones, and is already in use across 16 countries in Australia, North America and Europe. We're in a growth stage, scaling the platform and the team behind it, with more exciting developments on the way.

The role

We're growing our engineering team in India and looking for mid-level Full Stack Engineers to help build out our platform's capabilities so it meets the current and future needs of our clients. You'll join a small, high-ownership team (currently three engineers, with our Lead based in Delhi), where your work goes straight into production and directly shapes the product.

What you'll do

• Build and ship features across the stack, from Angular frontends to Node.js/TypeScript APIs and services
• Own features end to end, from requirements and design through to release and post-release support
• Work closely with product and operations teams to turn business needs into well-scoped technical solutions
• Write well-tested, maintainable code
• Improve performance, observability and automation across the platform
• Help evolve our release process as we move to fortnightly releases, including building out automated testing, safe rollouts and monitoring
• Use agentic AI tooling across design, coding, testing and documentation, and help shape how the team uses it

Our stack

Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, AWS, Cypress, CircleCI, TerraForm

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• A track record of shipping production software across both frontend and backend
• Strong TypeScript skills, with experience in Angular (or a similar modern framework) and Node.js
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with MongoDB or other document databases
• Hands-on AWS experience, plus familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing and monitoring tools
• Experience using AI coding assistants or agentic tools in your day-to-day work
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues across time zones

Nice to have

• Start-up or scale-up experience
• Insurance, insurtech or financial services background
• TerraForm experience
• Exposure to aviation, drones, IoT or other autonomous technologies

On-call

You'll be part of a shared on-call rotation supporting our US customers outside India business hours, covering critical incidents only.
