Full Stack Engineer – AEM

This is a remote position.

• Use AI coding tools as your default way of working across code, tests, and documentation, reviewing and testing everything before it goes into a pull request
  
• Build and maintain AEM Sites components, templates, and Sling Models under the guidance of senior engineers
  
• Configure and support AEM Assets, including Digital Asset Management (DAM) workflows
  
• Develop backend services in Java (Spring, REST APIs), contributing to integration work with enterprise systems
  
• Build componentised frontend experiences using React JS or an equivalent framework, applying WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidance
  
• Work to Git branching and pull request standards, taking part in code review as both author and reviewer
  
• Resolve CI/CD build failures and quality gate issues rather than handing them on
  
• Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
  
• Take ownership of features within a sprint, escalating design questions to senior engineers or architects
  
• Participate fully in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and showcases
  

• 4–6+ years in full stack software engineering, with at least 2 years on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  
• Demonstrated, current use of AI coding assistants (Claude/Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or equivalent) across code, tests, and documentation, with the ability to explain and defend AI-generated code you commit
  
• AEM Sites component and template development: Sling Models, HTL/Sightly, client libraries, OSGi services
  
• Hands-on experience with AEM Assets, including DAM workflows and metadata basics
  
• Strong core Java (Java 8+), Spring, and RESTful API design
  
• React JS or an equivalent modern frontend framework; component-driven development; working awareness of WCAG 2.1 AA
  
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for automated testing
  
• Experience working in Agile teams with active participation in Scrum ceremonies
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working closely with senior engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams
  
• Nice to have: exposure to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), Content Fragments/GraphQL, Edge Delivery Services, CRM integrations (Salesforce/Dynamics), Adobe Analytics, or an Adobe Certification
