What’s involved:

· Design, develop and deliver scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Boot and React

· Build and enhance full-stack applications across frontend and backend systems

· Develop and maintain microservices within a mixed architecture of monolithic applications and modern platforms

· Work with relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL, alongside SQL

· Integrate applications with cloud platforms and enterprise systems

· Take end-to-end ownership of features across design, development, testing, deployment and production support

· Support system reliability, troubleshoot production incidents and identify root causes

· Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

· Promote coding standards, automated testing, code quality and continuous improvement

· Leverage AI-assisted development tools and automation to improve productivity and software quality

What you need:

• 5+ years' experience in software engineering or full-stack development

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot

• Solid frontend development experience with React

• Experience developing full-stack applications across frontend and backend technologies

• Strong SQL and relational database experience, ideally with Oracle or PostgreSQL

• Experience working with microservices and REST APIs

• Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP

• Understanding of software design patterns, testing, CI/CD and deployment practices

• Experience supporting production applications, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

• Financial services or payments industry experience would be advantageous

• Strong communication skills and ability to work within collaborative engineering teams
