Full-Stack Engineer (React + Ruby on Rails) at BairesDev
In this role, you'll join a product engineering team working on a large-scale platform, collaborating across disciplines rather than on one side of the stack. You'll bring sound engineering judgment to a system that keeps growing, and help shape how it scales and evolves.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain full-stack features using React and Ruby on Rails.
- Design APIs with an API-first approach, using GraphQL and REST.
- Contribute to the architecture of distributed, microservices-based systems.
- Optimize system and database performance.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teammates.
- 5+ years of experience building full-stack applications with React and Ruby on Rails.
- Background developing large-scale systems.
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with API design, including GraphQL and RESTful services.
- Advanced level of English.
- 100% remote work (from anywhere).
