Full Stack Engineer | React.js, TypeScript & AWS Lambda

Sii Group Colombia is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for an international project. This role is open to candidates currently based in Colombia who can work in the U.S. Eastern Time zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Develop and optimize backend services with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
• Build and integrate APIs using AWS AppSync and GraphQL, including WebSocket-based real-time features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of AWS solutions.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams in a distributed, multinational environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building backend services with AWS Lambda.
• Solid experience with AWS services and databases such as DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GraphQL or REST APIs and real-time technologies such as WebSockets.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture, microservices, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1).
• Must be based in Colombia and available to work in the U.S. Eastern Time zone.

Nice to Have

• AWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect or Developer Associate.
• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience with AI tools, agents, or LLM integrations, such as Qwen.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
