Full Stack Platform Engineer

Vagon streams high-performance cloud computers and applications to any device through the browser for use by Human or AI agents. We are a small team, so every engineer owns problems end to end.

You will build across the whole platform: Vagon Core API (backend and control plane: machine lifecycle, session orchestration, APIs), Vagon Frontend (the web app and in-browser streaming client), and, as you ramp up, our Linux and Windows streaming agents (capture, encode, input, agent-to-core protocol). You ship what users see and the plumbing behind it.

• 4+ years shipping production web services and their frontends
• Strong backend skills: Ruby, Python etc. comfortable in Javascript and React
• Hands-on with AWS, GCP, Linux, Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD
• Care about reliability and observability; have been on call
• Curious about real-time systems: video, networking, latency

Bonus: C++/Rust/Go on Windows or Linux, video encoding or WebRTC, GPU or remote-desktop stacks, OpenTelemetry.
