Full Stack Software Developer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer who will be instrumental in leading the development of our primary product. If you are someone who has been a technical lead for a product and enjoys mentoring other developers this could be a perfect match.

Silent Partner Software develops software for the Non Profit industry. Our mission is to support as many non profit organizations in running their organizations as efficiently as possible so that they can in turn support as many people as possible. The Full Stack Senior Software Developer is responsible for producing code while considering the overall design and architecture of our main product. She/he also acts as a mentor to less experienced developers or new team members.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, coding, code review and deployment processes to release application features to production.
  

• Analyse requirements and propose technical strategies to the team.
  

• Guide the evolution of the development processes and technology.
  

• Identify issues and work with the team to find solutions.
  

• Monitor, triage and fix production errors as they arise.
  

• Research for technical issues outside of our products (Gmail, mySQL etc)
  

• Mentor junior developers.
  

• Answer questions from support and product owner teams about how the software works and investigate issues.
  

• Additional projects and tasks as might be requested by your manager.
  

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  

• 8 years experience working in software development (Java)
  

• 5 years experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL
  

• Experience with Software-as-a-Service and Cloud based Web Technologies (CSS, HTML, JQuery, ASP.NET, Microservices, API, Syncfusion, Spring, IIS)
  

• Experience with Python would be beneficial.
  

• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and languages such as Java, C#
  

• AWS or similar Cloud-based infrastructure and service delivery experience
  

• Software development methodologies and best practices (Iterative process, Agile/Scrum etc)
  

• Build and release management experience, ideally with Jenkins, MSBuild, Maven
  

• Familiar with source control tools (Git), Project management (Jira)
