Full Stack Software Developer, Pebble

Pebble is Bedrock Facility Solutions’ in-house platform for managing facility work across multiple locations. It brings work orders, assets, preventative maintenance, service-provider coordination, approvals, documentation, invoice records, and reporting into one place.

We are looking for a full-stack developer to work on the existing production application. You will take features and problems from the initial conversation through development, testing, and release.

Facility software has a lot of connected parts. A single work order may involve a location, asset, service provider, quote, approval, SLA, invoice record, and service history. This role is responsible for making those connections reliable and easy for people to use.

What you’ll do

• Build and improve features across the frontend, backend, and database

• Work directly with Bedrock’s operations team to understand how facility work moves from request to completion

• Improve the work-order lifecycle, including intake, assignment, approvals, status tracking, documentation, and closeout

• Build stronger asset and equipment records, warranty history, preventative maintenance schedules, and service history

• Improve service-provider assignment, trade coverage, compliance records, and dispatch workflows

• Strengthen user roles, permissions, account access, and audit history

• Improve dashboards, global search, saved views, reporting, imports, and exports

• Investigate production issues, identify the root cause, and release durable fixes

• Create safe database migrations and data corrections without damaging customer records

• Write automated tests and complete release checks before changes reach production

• Monitor application errors, performance, and data consistency

• Document technical decisions and important workflows

• Help prepare Pebble for future integrations, APIs, enterprise account structures, and single sign-on

What we’re looking for

• At least three years of experience building and maintaining production web applications

• Experience working across user interfaces, backend logic, APIs, and relational databases

• Strong knowledge of a modern frontend framework such as React, Next.js, Vue, or a comparable framework

• Experience with server-side application development and API design

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational data

• Experience building authentication, permissions, and role-based access

• Experience using Git, testing tools, deployment workflows, and production monitoring

• The ability to debug issues that involve multiple parts of an application

• Good judgment when working with customer data and production systems

• The ability to explain technical decisions to people who do not work in software

• The ability to manage work independently and follow through without constant supervision

A college degree is not required. We care more about what you have built, how you solve problems, and whether you can take responsibility for production work.

Helpful experience

• Multi-tenant SaaS applications

• CMMS, work-order, field-service, property-management, or facility-management software

• Asset and preventative-maintenance systems

• Data imports, exports, dashboards, and reporting

• Accounting, SSO, or third-party API integrations

• Cloud deployment platforms such as Vercel or comparable services
