Overview

Berlin-based software company building a Vietnam engineering team. We hire people who already ship with Claude Code — not people who treat AI as a side tool.

Core work is Spring Boot + React. You will also own a live Grails app for a few months. Grails is JVM; strong Java is enough to stabilize it and hand it off. You own outcomes. You do not hide behind the model.

Description

1. Ship production features end-to-end: APIs, data, integrations, React UI.
2. Use Claude Code daily to write, refactor, test, and debug. Prompt with constraints and verification loops, not one-shots.
3. Review, harden, or reject AI output. You are accountable for what ships.
4. Take over the Grails app for a defined transition while the stack moves to Spring Boot + React.
5. Hold the bar on architecture and maintainability. Work directly with Vietnam and Berlin.

Job Requirements

1. 5+ years shipping production software.
2. Daily Claude Code use on real product work — not demos.
3. Strong Java. Spring Boot in production preferred; Grails or another JVM web stack is acceptable if you can get productive fast.
4. Production React.
5. Judgment to rewrite or reject AI-generated code. You finish things.

**High pace. Small team. Measured on what reaches production, not tokens burned. If you need a perfect spec or permission to use AI, skip this role.
