If this sounds like a fit, we’d love you to be a part of it.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Full Stack Solution Developer for our Pension Solutions team. Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Automation, the Full Stack Solutions Developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand operational processes, identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and deliver practical solutions in an Agile environment. The successful incumbent will support the full automation lifecycle, from discovery and proof of concept through implementation, production support, documentation, and continuous improvement.

As the Newest Member of our Team, You’ll:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, assess automation opportunities, estimate productivity impact, and support financial impact and return-on-investment analysis.
  • Map end-to-end processes, gather business and technical requirements, and translate them into automation designs, proof-of-concept solutions, and implementation plans.
  • Demonstrate suitable solutions through rapid development of effective proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Break down complex systems into their core components to understand functionality, dependencies, interactions, risks, and integration requirements.
  • Design, create, develop, test, implement, maintain, and optimize automated processes using modern development, integration, and automation technologies.
  • Build solutions that integrate with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and related systems to support reliable cross-system workflows.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools, where appropriate, to support solution design, coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and optimization, while reviewing outputs for accuracy, security, and alignment to CAAT standards.
  • Develop and support AI-assisted model components or prototypes for specific automation use cases, ensuring assumptions, limitations, validation steps, controls, and human review expectations are documented.
  • Review automation outputs and recommend optimizations to improve success rates, reliability, maintainability, and production performance.
  • Create and maintain solution documentation, including technical designs, release notes, operational run books, maintenance procedures, implementation notes, and support materials.
  • Contribute to automation development best practices, reusable components, documentation standards, and operational support practices.
  • Adhere to information technology operational protocols, change management practices, security requirements, data privacy expectations, and other defined standards.

To Succeed, You Bring:

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a developer in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on experience in process automation, workflow automation, application integration, or process optimization
  • C#/.NET experience and TypeScript experience; Angular experience preferred.
  • API integration and API development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in process automation and process optimization.
  • Python experience for automation, scripting, data handling, or workflow support.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including serverless computing, secrets management, and application integration using Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, and associated platform components.
  • Working knowledge of automation design, process improvement, technical documentation, code migration, defect resolution, and production support practices.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical methods, including how to validate outputs and recognize when human review or additional controls are required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts, automation designs, and solution trade-offs to business teams and technical stakeholders in clear terms.
