Fullstack Engineer

About Alrik

Construction is one of the world's largest industries, and most of it still runs on phone calls and paper notes. Alrik changes that. We're a transport intelligence platform that turns manual logistics into AI-powered workflows for builders merchants, hire companies and material suppliers across Northern Europe.

Today, Alrik is business-critical software for some of the biggest builders merchants in the Nordics and the UK, and we're expanding into the rest of Europe. Our team is small and tight, which is deliberate. We'd rather have fewer, better people who genuinely shape what we build.

Our north star: become the most customer-focused tech company in the world. For engineering, that means you don't just ship code: You understand the problems our customers face and build solutions that create real value together with them.

The role

As a Fullstack Engineer, you'll own Alrik's frontend (our web app and mobile apps) and ship features across the whole stack, from UI to API to database.

You'll work AI-first. Agents are part of how you plan, build, test and improve, every day. In a team this size, that's how we move fast without cutting corners, and you'll help set the bar for how we do it.

What you'll do

  • Own the frontend. Our React web app and React Native mobile app are yours: architecture, code quality, performance and releases.
  • Build features end to end. UI, API endpoints, data model changes and tests. You take a feature from idea to production.
  • Find and fix what slows users down. Use AI tooling in a structured way to find UI improvements, bugs and performance problems, then fix them with an agentic workflow.
  • Design UI with AI. You don't need to be a designer. You turn customer needs into clear, usable interfaces with the help of AI tools.
  • Shape how we work. Set up and improve our AI-assisted workflow: agent instructions, review rules and practices the whole team uses.

How we build

We build with AI every day, and we expect you already do too. Not just autocomplete, but agentic tools like Claude Code, Cursor or similar that plan, write, refactor and test code.

You use AI across the full loop: reading unfamiliar code, writing tests, debugging from logs and errors. You connect agents to real systems like error tracking, the issue tracker and our APIs. You know when to let the agent run and when to take over and write it yourself. And you share what works, so the whole team gets faster.

Our tech stack

  • Web: React, Vite, SASS, react-query, Redux, TypeScript
  • Mobile: Expo, React Native, react-query, Redux, TypeScript
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, MySQL, Redis
  • Cloud: GCP, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub

Strong frontend depth is a must. On the backend, you should be able to ship a feature on your own.

What we're looking for

  • You're an expert in React and TypeScript. You've built data-heavy UIs (tables, forms, planning views) and shipped a React Native app to production.
  • You work AI-first, and can show it. Agentic tools are your default way of working, not an experiment.
  • You're fullstack in practice. You can build and change Python APIs and data models to get a feature out on your own.
  • You take ownership. You don't need fully specified tickets or finished designs to get started, and you stay with your work after release, bugs and monitoring included.
  • You're good with people. Customers and colleagues enjoy working with you. You can explain technical trade-offs to non-technical people without being condescending.
  • You communicate clearly in English, written and spoken. Swedish is not required.
  • You're able to work in Sweden.

Bonus points

  • Experience from logistics, transport, TMS, or product excellence in general.
  • Complex planning or dispatch UIs, maps and routing.
  • You've built LLM-powered features into a product, not only used AI to write code.
  • GCP, Cloud Run or event-driven systems like Pub/Sub.
  • Startup or small-team experience with broad ownership.

What we offer

  • Direct influence on the product. You'll shape the frontend architecture, roadmap priorities and how we work, not just execute tickets.
  • A team that punches above its weight. Small, skilled and energized colleagues who care about building great software.
  • Competitive salary
  • Generous equity participation. We want you to have real skin in the game as we grow.
  • 30 days vacation
  • Healthcare and wellness allowance
  • Hybrid setup from our Stockholm office. We value in-person collaboration and also respect focused time at home.

Apply through LinkedIn or send your CV and, if you'd like, links to anything you've built that you're proud of, especially things you built with AI. We'd love to hear from you.
