PROJECT & CONTEXT You'll be joining a close-knit engineering team within a product-focused software house. The work is backend-heavy, with occasional touchpoints on the frontend side. The team embraces AI code assistance tools as part of the daily workflow — not as a gimmick, but as a genuine productivity and quality lever. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 2–3+ years of experience in backend development with Java Solid hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot Comfortable working with React or Angular (frontend exposure valued, but backend is the core focus) Actively uses AI code assistance tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) for development, refactoring, unit testing, documentation and troubleshooting Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Strong English communication skills — written and spoken (working language of the team) NICE TO HAVE Experience working in small, agile engineering teams Interest or experience in software architecture and clean code practices Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps basics Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures
