About the Role
Join a small engineering team building software for healthcare providers and the families they serve. You will own platform foundations and product systems end to end, with a focus on reliable workflows, accurate financial operations, and AI-enabled clinical tools.
What You'll Do
Design and build AI-supported workflows for clinical documentation, treatment planning, reassessments, supervision, and administrative tasks.
Develop systems for service authorization, billing, payment adjudication, and provider payments.
Build tools for provider credentialing, contracting, compliance, payroll, scheduling, and staffing.
Create patient and family experiences for onboarding, scheduling, communication, progress tracking, and payments.
Automate operational workflows across billing, authorizations, credentialing, and care coordination.
Own platform data models, APIs, security, reliability, AI infrastructure, and production systems from database through user experience.
What We're Looking For
Four to ten years of fullstack engineering experience, including work at a startup.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Firebase.
Product engineering experience that includes system design and architecture decisions.
Experience building high-accuracy systems in healthcare, fintech, insurance, or another operationally complex industry where correctness matters.
A bachelor's degree and strong computer science fundamentals.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over critical business logic.
Current authorization to work without visa sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $160,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid, based in New York, New York, with three days per week in the office. Remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
