Fullstack Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a small engineering team building a healthcare technology platform for providers and families. You will own core systems end to end, from data models and APIs to user experiences, helping make clinical and operational workflows more accurate and efficient.

What You'll Do

• Design and build AI-enabled workflows for clinical documentation, treatment planning, reassessments, supervision, and administrative tasks.

• Develop revenue and payments infrastructure for service authorization, billing, adjudication, and provider payments.

• Build provider operations tools for credentialing, contracting, compliance, payroll, scheduling, and staffing.

• Create patient and family experiences for intake, onboarding, scheduling, communication, progress tracking, and payments.

• Automate operational workflows across billing, authorizations, credentialing, and care coordination.

• Own platform foundations including data models, APIs, security, reliability, compliance, AI infrastructure, and production systems.

What We're Looking For

• Four to ten years of fullstack engineering experience, including work at a startup and in a full-time role.

• Strong Python proficiency and experience with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Firebase.

• Product engineering experience that includes architecture decisions or system design, ideally in a Series A or later environment.

• Experience in healthcare technology, fintech, insurance, or another operationally complex field where accuracy and data integrity are essential.

• A bachelor's degree and strong computer science fundamentals.

• Attention to detail and a systems-oriented approach to modeling business rules, states, and edge cases.

• Current work authorization that does not require employer visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $160,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California. New York City may also be considered.
