Fully Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
Veteran & First Responder Mental Health
Location: Norman, Oklahoma | Hybrid Opportunities
Compensation: $40–$45/hour, based on experience
Employment: W-2 | Part-Time to Full-Time
Start Part-Time. Grow Into Full-Time. Make a Difference.
Inner Circle Mental Health is seeking a fully licensed mental health clinician to join our growing team specializing in mental health care for veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and their families.
Our mission is to provide exceptional, culturally informed, evidence-based mental health care to individuals working in professions where confidentiality, trust, and clinical competence are especially important.
We understand that building a full caseload takes time. That's why we've developed a structured 90-day transition from part-time to full-time employment, allowing clinicians to gradually increase their caseload while receiving administrative support and established referrals.
We have clients ready for care and are looking for the right clinician to serve them.
The Opportunity
This position begins part-time, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time caseload of approximately 30 completed clinical sessions per week within 90 days.
Clinicians provide individual, couples, or family psychotherapy based on their training, qualifications, and clinical interests.
Common areas of treatment include:
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex trauma
- Occupational stress, burnout, and critical incident exposure
- Military and first responder mental health
- Anxiety, depression, and adjustment difficulties
- Relationship and family concerns
- Grief, loss, and life transitions
- Stress associated with high-risk and high-demand professions
Our clinicians work with firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, dispatchers, military veterans, healthcare professionals, and their families, as well as members of the broader community.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer competitive hourly compensation with a productivity-based model rather than a fixed annual salary.
- $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- W-2 employment
- Structured part-time to full-time transition
- Flexible scheduling
- Established referral sources and caseload-building support
- Administrative, scheduling, billing, and credentialing support
- Clinical consultation and team collaboration
- Opportunities for specialized professional development
- Health insurance eligibility for qualifying employees
- 401(k) access
- Paid time off for eligible employees
Compensation is based on completed clinical sessions and other compensable work. Full-time transition is a target dependent on caseload availability and performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Oklahoma license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent independently licensed mental health professional
- Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions within the scope of licensure
- Experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy
- Strong clinical documentation and professional communication skills
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and culturally responsive care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
Preferred Qualifications
We are particularly interested in applicants who bring one or more of the following:
- Military or veteran experience, including prior military service, military family experience, or professional experience serving veteran populations
- First responder experience, including prior service in law enforcement, fire, EMS, emergency dispatch, or professional experience working with public safety personnel
- Experience treating PTSD, occupational trauma, or cumulative stress exposure
- Training or certification in EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), or other evidence-based trauma treatments
- Experience providing couples or family therapy
- Bilingual proficiency, particularly English and Spanish, with the clinical language skills necessary to provide psychotherapy in both languages
- Experience working with healthcare professionals or other high-stress occupational populations
Military or first responder experience is strongly valued but is not required. We welcome clinicians interested in developing specialized expertise in these populations.
Why Inner Circle?
Inner Circle Mental Health was created to address a critical gap in mental health care: access to clinicians who understand the professional cultures, experiences, and confidentiality concerns of veterans and first responders.
We don't believe clinicians should have to choose between meaningful work and professional support.
Our practice provides the infrastructure necessary to deliver high-quality clinical care while minimizing the administrative burden associated with independent practice.
We value clinical excellence, confidentiality, accountability, collaboration, and continued professional development.
We're looking for clinicians who share those values and want to build a lasting career serving people who spend their lives serving others.
