Functional Analyst/Web Developer, Portal Apps Services

Position available for candidates based in La Plata, Bahía Blanca, CABA, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza.

Web Developers at Avature design, configure, and implement Portal Apps solutions that address real customer needs. Working with Avature’s existing platform, reusable templates, and established best practices, they transform business and UX requirements into scalable, maintainable web experiences.

The role combines web development, technical consulting, project ownership, and direct customer interaction. Web Developers participate throughout the project lifecycle, from solution definition and implementation through deployment, support, and stabilization.

Your challenges and objectives:

• Understand customers’ business needs and recommend effective implementation approaches using Avature’s platform capabilities.
• Participate in the definition of solutions together with customers and other members of the implementation team.
• Own smaller projects end to end, from scope confirmation through implementation, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Design and implement scalable and maintainable Portal Apps solutions using reusable templates, platform components, and Avature’s best practices.
• Balance technical requirements, business objectives, project priorities, and customer expectations.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with customers and globally distributed teammates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Adapt existing solutions and platform capabilities to meet customer needs rather than developing every solution from scratch.

Your day-to-day activities:

• Build Portal Apps using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and PHP when applicable.
• Configure and tailor solutions within Avature’s platform.
• Apply reusable templates and established best practices to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Translate business and UX requirements into functional and technical implementations.
• Collaborate with customers, analysts, developers, and other technical team members to define the best solution.
• Manage project activities from scope confirmation through implementation and deployment.
• Coordinate customer communication, follow-up activities, and feedback throughout the implementation process.
• Support customers during Go-Live and stabilization.
• Maintain and enhance existing Portal Apps by implementing changes and addressing technical issues.
• Share implementation insights and customer feedback to help identify opportunities for improving Portal Apps solutions and Avature’s platform.
• Continuously expand your knowledge of web technologies, platform configuration, and implementation practices.

About you:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Solid technical foundation and knowledge of web programming. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Interest in working directly with customers and participating in solution definition.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Familiarity with AI tools applied to software development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of PHP.
• Experience in technical consulting or customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience managing projects from definition through implementation.
