Functional Consultant – Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant to support the implementation of Asset & Liability Management (ALM) solutions, with a focus on Ambit Focus / Balance Sheet Manager. In this role, you will work closely with clients from project discovery through implementation, helping configure risk management software, facilitate solution workshops, provide user training, and support clients after go-live. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale balance sheet risk transformation program for a leading financial services client. Key Responsibilities Lead client engagements from discovery through implementation and delivery. Conduct workshops to gather business requirements and design solutions with treasury, risk, and finance stakeholders. Configure and implement ALM software based on client requirements and industry best practices. Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and process documentation. Deliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support. Manage stakeholder communication and issue tracking using tools such as JIRA. Required Experience Candidates should have hands-on experience implementing Asset & Liability Management (ALM) solutions and a strong understanding of balance sheet risk management. Experience should include one or more of the following areas: Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) Liquidity Risk Management IFRS 9 / Expected Credit Loss (ECL) Hands-on implementation experience with one or more of these platforms is required: Ambit Focus / Balance Sheet Manager Workiva Murex Fusion Risk (Finastra) Fusion Kondor Calypso Candidates should also have experience configuring and implementing ALM or risk management software from solution design through go-live. Required Skills Business Analysis Requirements Gathering Solution Design SQL Stakeholder Management Documentation JIRA End-user Training and Support Preferred Qualifications Experience with regulatory reporting and IFRS 9 / Expected Credit Loss (ECL) frameworks. Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, or ACCA. Previous consulting experience with a systems integrator, Big Four consulting firm, or risk software vendor. Exposure to liquidity risk, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) modelling, and balance sheet analytics. What We Offer 12-month renewable engagement on a major balance sheet risk transformation program.
