Functional Consultant (Product Consultant)

We're hiring a Functional Consultant to support our clients in the Middle East. You'll be the link between Meniga's products and our clients' teams, from the first workshop to a go-live.

Location: Cairo, Egypt – hybrid, working with our delivery teams in Reykjavik and Warsaw.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain and maintain an expert-level understanding of Meniga’s product suite and services, with a particular focus on our APIs and integration capabilities.
• Deeply understand our approach to experience design, embodying Meniga’s standards in all customer interactions.
• Lead functional workshops and design sprints with clients, facilitating the seamless integration of our solutions into their environments.
• Work closely with our customers to define and document precise functional requirements for integration projects.
• Address functional inquiries, providing clear, insightful answers and solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and product utilization.
• Serve as a bridge between customers and our internal teams (Product Management and Sales), conveying crucial feedback and requirements gleaned during integration projects.
• Ability to travel up to 2 weeks a month, especially to the Middle East (mainly UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman and Egypt).

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in functional consulting, solution consulting, product consulting, business analysis, or implementation roles within fintech, digital banking, or financial services.
• A genuine passion for creating exceptional digital financial experiences and helping clients maximize value from innovative technology solutions
• Strong understanding of retail banking, digital banking, personal finance management (PFM), wealth management, lending, or other financial services domains.
• Exceptional knowledge of financial services UX and the ability to apply this expertise in a B2B product context.
• Strong analytical skills, with an aptitude for understanding complex product capabilities and devising optimal integration strategies.
• Comfortable with REST APIs and JSON. Ability to read and understand API docs and payloads (no coding needed).
• Proven ability to translate business needs into product solutions, balancing customer requirements with product capabilities and best practices
• Articulate communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering engaging and informative product demonstrations.
• Self-driven, collaborative, and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Experience in conducting workshops, design sprints, and training sessions, with a knack for transferring knowledge in accessible and impactful ways.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Eligibility and willingness to work under a B2B contractor arrangement.
