Fund Operations Analyst (AI)

Job description

Location: Hybrid in New York or at the Palo Alto office; candidates must be I-9 eligible in the United States. Travel may be required for company offsites.

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annual base salary, plus bonus and equity eligibility.

hirify.global is building an operating system for private markets used by wealth advisors and their clients to access, transact in, and manage private market investments.

What you will do

• Execute fund lifecycle operations across 150+ funds, including capital call notices, wires, transfers, distributions, and credit facility drawdowns.
• Reconcile partner activity, fund expenses, accruals, bank activity, administrator records, and quarterly financial statements.
• Maintain operational trackers for investment activity, payments, distributions, tax documents, credit facilities, and investor commitments.
• Support bank and brokerage account openings by compiling entity documentation and maintaining account records.
• Document workflows and partner with Product and Engineering to move operational logic from spreadsheets into the platform.
• Build automation for notice generation, payment matching, invoice allocation, reconciliations, file routing, exception alerts, queries, and dashboards.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, treasury, audit, or a related finance function.
• Working knowledge of private fund mechanics, including capital calls, distributions, fund expenses, capital accounts, and investor reporting.
• Experience owning expense or cash reconciliations and explaining variances under deadline pressure.
• Clear communication with fund administrators, banks, auditors, and internal teams.
• Process-oriented approach with active use of AI and automation to reduce repetitive work.
• I-9 eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience reviewing and challenging the work of third-party fund administrators.
• Treasury or payment operations experience with bank portals, dual approvals, wire cutoffs, and payment controls.
• Experience building processes in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
