Milton, QLD | Full-Time | 9:00am - 5:00pm Hybrid Working: 4 days in the Milton office, 1 day from home

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Funding and Claims Manager, you will be responsible for funding and claims across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Driving sales revenue growth across your allocated clinic network
  • Creating and embedding a customer-focused sales culture
  • Engaging and developing teams to create alignment, accountability and high performance
  • Coaching and mentoring clinic staff to achieve individual and team success
  • Leveraging cross-functional partnerships to optimise operational effectiveness, training and employee support
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Promoting a culture of safety, wellbeing and inclusion

About You

You are an experienced people leader who enjoys developing people, building strong relationships and delivering results across geographically dispersed teams.

You Will Bring

Review, assess and validate claims across all funding streams, including Hearing Services Program (HSP), Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA), WorkCover, and other third-party funders, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines, policies and contractual requirements.

  • Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits of submitted, draft and historical claims to identify errors, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate claim discrepancies, rejections, payment delays and non-compliance issues, and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve claiming procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, clinic teams, regional leadership and support office stakeholders to identify claiming issues, billing inconsistencies and process gaps.
  • Analyse claims data and operational trends to identify recurring issues, compliance risks, training needs and revenue recovery opportunities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support on funding eligibility, claiming requirements and compliance obligations across all funding programs.
  • Deliver training, coaching and guidance to clinic and support teams to improve claim accuracy, compliance outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards on claiming performance, compliance findings, aged debt, funding risks and revenue recovery outcomes.
  • Support business initiatives and projects relating to funding, claiming systems, process improvements and regulatory changes.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex funding, billing and claims-related enquiries.

Essential

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of claims administration, compliance, auditing or revenue management.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to interpret policies, procedures and funding guidelines.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting and reconciliation.
  • Experience developing process documentation, SOPs and governance frameworks.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the Hearing Services Program (HSP), DVA, WorkCover and other healthcare funding models.
  • Understanding of audiology services, hearing aid funding and associated claiming requirements.
  • Experience within healthcare, allied health or a regulated funding environment.
  • Experience conducting compliance audits and investigations.
