Tax Manager

Location: Kilkenny | Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Manager to join a growing financial services organisation in Kilkenny. This role offers the opportunity to lead a tax compliance team, manage client relationships and contribute to the continued development of a growing tax function within an international business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the review of Irish corporate tax returns, tax computations, tax provisions and VAT compliance.
• Manage tax compliance deadlines and provide guidance on Irish and international tax matters, including DAC6 reporting.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, external tax advisers, auditors and relevant tax authorities.
• Lead, mentor and develop the tax team while driving process improvements, risk management and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

• Relevant tax qualification, ideally AITI / Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), with strong experience in corporate tax compliance.
• Proven experience reviewing corporate tax returns and VAT filings, with knowledge of Irish tax legislation.
• Previous team leadership, people management or coaching experience, alongside strong client relationship skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and improve processes in a fast-paced environment.
