About The Role
SpinPlay Games is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Game Designer to join our Game Design department. This full-time remote position is based in Nevada or Texas and offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development of new game designs, themes, and overall game flow for electronic slot machines. As a Game Designer, you will be responsible for directing the execution of the game vision through close collaboration with artists, animators, and developers. You will manage multiple projects end-to-end, ensuring that all game elements meet quality standards and align with the intended player experience. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, game design, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically in slot game design and development.
- Strong background in mathematics and quality assurance related to game mechanics and design.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept through completion.
- Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams including art, animation, and software engineering.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA or similar software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality game standards.

- Participate in the creation and review of original game designs, themes, and concepts for electronic slot machines.
- Review game software during development to ensure gameplay and all game elements meet quality and design specifications.
- Create and maintain all necessary documentation and files required for game development and regulatory submissions.
- Act as the end-to-end project manager for multiple slot game projects, overseeing progress from kickoff to completion.
- Maintain and report project status and health to relevant stakeholders regularly.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of contributors, fostering motivation, resolving conflicts, and building strong working relationships.
- Schedule, facilitate, and document team meetings to capture project updates and action items.
- Set project priorities and assign tasks using JIRA and other project management tools.
- Continuously play and test games in development to verify functionality and production quality against design requirements.
- Collaborate with other game producers and designers to identify common issues, communicate resolutions, and share best practices.
