About The Role
We are seeking a talented Junior Developer / Game Designer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at either our Essen or Würzburg location. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing interactive training solutions that convert real-world processes into engaging 3D scenarios using Unity. Your work will directly influence how users learn, make decisions, and act within our training modules. You will collaborate across disciplines, working closely with developers, subject matter experts, and product teams to create compelling user experiences that are both motivating and easy to understand. Your technical expertise will help optimize performance across all devices, ensuring seamless usability whether accessed via web or VR. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that have a tangible impact on workplace safety and operational excellence in the construction industry.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant academic background, such as a degree in Games Engineering, Game Development, or a comparable field. Hands-on experience in game design and Unity development is essential, along with proficiency in C# and a solid understanding of game engine functionalities. Familiarity with 3D modeling tools like Blender is a plus, as is experience in creating intuitive user interactions and UI design. A good grasp of UX principles will be advantageous. We value candidates who demonstrate a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently with curiosity and enthusiasm for new solutions. Fluency in both German and English is required to facilitate effective communication within our international team.
