As our new Game UI Artist (Unity 2D) (f/m/d*) , you will create aesthetic and functional user interfaces for our mobile and social games. Join our diverse, creative, and engaging team. You can easily find us on your preferred app store by searching for "GameDuell"! This is not a UI/UX design, UX research, wireframing, or interaction design position! This is an artistic, visual asset creation role focused on creating and rendering 2D game assets and icons, and Unity UI implementation. Your tasks Design creative and playful user interfaces for our new and existing mobile and social game applications Create and refine 2D UI elements, graphics, and animations (e.g., menus, icons, buttons, typography, visuals, etc.) Integrate and animate UI assets directly in Unity Ensure the consistency of existing styles or co-create these for new games Work in close collaboration with other artists, UX, game designers, and developers What we expect Background in art, design, digital media, or similar field A minimum of 2+ years of experience in designing (mobile) 2D UI game screens and implementing them in Unity A meaningful portfolio showcasing mobile game interfaces Proficiency in Unity, especially in the area of UI integration and animation Skilled with Photoshop, Illustrator A good workflow in creating clean files that allow for fast iteration and the creation of final art assets A solid understanding of fundamental design principles, usability, flows, and UI design What we offer At GameDuell , we’re more than just a workplace - we’re a creative community.
