Long O'Donnell is looking to recruit and mobilise an experienced multidisciplinary engineering design team to support a major programme of gas infrastructure investment and network development works. We are seeking talented engineering professionals with proven experience in the UK gas transmission and distribution sector to support a diverse portfolio of projects, including high-pressure pipelines, network reinforcement, AGI developments, governor replacements, pipeline diversions, biomethane connections and associated infrastructure upgrades.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience delivering engineering design projects within UK gas transmission or distribution networks.
• Knowledge of relevant IGEM standards, gas industry specifications and engineering design assurance processes.
• Experience in feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design and construction support.
• Familiarity with G17 design approval and appraisal processes, with CDA registration particularly desirable for relevant disciplines.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams and regulated utility environments.
• Strong technical competence, communication skills and the ability to integrate into established project delivery teams.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and CDM Regulations, where relevant to the position.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

These opportunities will involve working alongside established engineering and project delivery teams on a hybrid arrangement. We are particularly keen to speak with individuals who are available at short notice, as well as established engineering teams who may be interested in joining Long O'Donnell.
