Role Description
This is a remote role for Science Subject Specialist Teachers responsible for teaching Physics, Chemistry, or Biology to GCSE and A Level students following the UK curriculum.
Responsibilities include planning personalised lessons, delivering live online tutoring sessions, assessing student progress, and providing constructive academic feedback.
Teachers will work closely with students to develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts, practical applications, problem solving techniques, and UK curriculum requirements.
As all lessons are delivered to students in the United Kingdom, teachers must be highly confident in communicating and teaching entirely in English.
Qualifications
Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology
Previous experience teaching GCSE or A Level students
Minimum 3 years of proven teaching experience in the relevant subject
Excellent spoken English with a high level of fluency is essential
Candidates must be able to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in English throughout live classes
Strong English writing and communication skills
Experience with curriculum planning, lesson development, and personalised teaching
Strong online teaching skills and subject confidence
Professional, reliable, and student focused teaching approach
Ability to use video conferencing tools and digital whiteboards
Must provide experience certificates, academic qualifications, and references
Additional Requirement for A Level Teachers
Master's degree in the relevant subject, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related field is preferred.

3 or more years of Secondary teaching experience
Ability to manage online learning platforms effectively
Previous experience teaching the UK GCSE or A Level curriculum is preferred
A degree in the relevant Science subject or a related field is advantageous
