The heart of the role
Support the day-to-day General Accounting operations for the following process areas: Month-end-close journal entries, reconciliation, and reporting.
Manual General Ledger postings should be performed within the activity split.
Quality support to Audit and Control.
Proactively collaborate with other functions/teams to achieve the most efficient problem resolution or implement process controls, and support team members to achieve performance and quality standards.
Actively participate in process efficiency reviews and implementation of process automation.
Assist in implementing initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the General Accounting transaction processing.
What makes you beat
Degree in Economics or Business Administration, preferably with a major in accounting.
Approximately 1-2 years of experience in the area of accounting.
Experience in GA, AP, and AR processes in a complex and international business environment is advantageous.
Experience working with SAP or OpenAccounts is an advantage.
Experienced knowledge of Finance and Accounting end-to-end processes.
Must be proficient in English (both written and spoken).
