The role offers an excellent opportunity for a mid-level accounting professional looking to further develop their technical accounting skills within an international environment.

General Ledger Accountant supports the day-to-day Record to Report (R2R) activities, helping to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely month-end close across multiple international entities. This is a hands-on role involving journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and collaboration with finance teams across the business. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to process improvements and develop technical accounting knowledge within an international environment.

  • Follow financial controls and highlight potential issues
  • Support statutory reporting and global audit processes
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within the R2R function
  • Collaborate closely with global finance stakeholders and wider finance teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally covering GL accounting, month-end close, reconciliations or other R2R activities
  • Exposure to IFRS and financial reporting principles is an advantage, but not essential
  • Experience with SAP or another ERP system would be beneficial, but is not essential.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools are a plus
  • Hands-on experience with core GL activities such as journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
  • Experience in an international or multi-entity environment is an advantage
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • We welcome candidates who are looking to take the next step in their accounting career and further develop their technical accounting skills

What We Offer

  • Gross monthly salary from EUR 2,800 to EUR 3,000, depending on your experience and qualifications
  • Flexi-time: we operate with no fixed office hours, so you can work when you feel most productive with the flexibility to work from home several days per week
  • Multicultural working environment
