We are seeking an experienced General Liability Claims Examiner with 5-7 years of proven success handling both litigated and non-litigated claims. This role involves managing third-party Bodily Injury (BI) and Property Damage (PD) claims, requiring a high degree of professionalism, technical expertise, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities Investigate incidents involving alleged bodily injury and/or property damage. Review insurance policies and applicable language to determine coverage. Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure to recommend action plans. Negotiate settlements and attend mediations when necessary. Communicate effectively with management, carriers, brokers, policyholders, and legal counsel. Prepare clear, articulate reports and recommendations for resolution. Requirements 5-7 years of General Liability claims handling experience (BI & PD). Experience with both litigated and non-litigated claims. Strong ability to evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to provide resolution strategies and articulate action plans. Mediation and settlement experience preferred. Active adjuster’s license required. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to manage complex liability claims. Experience collaborating with counsel in defense of litigated matters. Strong negotiation skills and proven success in achieving cost-effective settlements.
