INNERGY is transforming the woodworking industry with purpose built, cloud based ERP software designed exclusively for custom manufacturers. Our platform helps businesses operate smarter, faster, and more efficiently while seamlessly connecting design, production, and delivery for teams creating architectural millwork, cabinetry, and casework.

What truly sets INNERGY apart is our people. Founded in 2016, we are a globally distributed team of 200 plus professionals united by deep software expertise and a shared passion for solving meaningful, real world problems. We value collaboration, creativity, and ownership, and we are intentional about building not only powerful products, but also a culture where people feel supported, heard, and inspired to do their best work.

With strong momentum and the recent acquisition of Microvellum, a trusted leader in design to manufacturing solutions for the woodworking industry, INNERGY is entering an exciting new phase of growth. This combination expands our capabilities, deepens our industry impact, and accelerates our vision of delivering a truly connected, end to end platform for custom manufacturers.

As we scale thoughtfully and bring together top talent and new perspectives, this is a unique opportunity to join a company where your work will have visible impact, your ideas will help shape decisions, and your contributions will play a meaningful role in defining the future of a fast evolving product, team, and industry.

INNERGY is the platform for the joinery industry — cloud ERP, CAD/CAM and shop-drawings services for the joinery and cabinetry manufacturers who build the casework, wall panels and fixtures inside the buildings you use every day. We’re specialists, not generalists: we replace the QuickBooks, Excel, AutoCAD and email stack most shops run on. Today that’s 520+ ERP customers and 1,800+ CAD/CAM customers, with ~25% of those within the Oceania region.

The Regional Director, Oceania role is accountable for owning the strategy, the customers, and the commercial results in the region.

This is a matrix role. The Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Customer Success and Support people serving Oceania report solid-line to their global functional leaders and dotted-line to you. You set the regional agenda and deliver it through influence and credibility rather than the org chart.

Responsibilities

Commercial

  • Own the Oceania number — new business, expansion and retention

  • Set regional strategy, the operating plan and segment focus; decide which parts of the AU/NZ joinery market we serve and which we don’t

  • Own the regional budget and deliver a forecast leadership can plan against

  • Own regional contribution margin — revenue, direct costs and the local cost base

Operational

  • Build and run the regional operating rhythm: pipeline reviews, account planning, escalation handling, and the cadence that keeps four functions aligned

  • In partnership with Sales Leadership, drive pipeline health, forecast accuracy and deal strategy on the deals that matter

  • Drive time-to-value, adoption, renewal and support quality for every AU/NZ customer

  • Solve the time zone gap between the regional customer base and US-based support

People and Influence

  • Shape hiring profiles, participate in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of regional teammates, and contribute to performance conversations alongside functional managers

  • Earn the trust and cooperation of global functional leaders; escalate cleanly when alignment fails

  • Build what it means to work at INNERGY in this market

Market and Company

  • Represent INNERGY in-region: Education, associations, industry events, partnerships and the local narrative

  • Serve as Oceania’s voice into product and leadership on what’s different here and what we need to win

  • Operational fluency in joinery, manufacturing, construction tech or building products — credible with shop owners on margins, throughput and why the estimate was wrong

  • Experience running a complex B2B software business: long cycles, multiple stakeholders, implementation-heavy products

  • Prior ownership of a regional business or P&L, not just a quota

  • Demonstrated results delivered through a matrix — accountable for outcomes owned by people who didn’t report to you, with a specific example they can walk through

  • Exposure to both sales and post-sale functions

  • Commercial judgment to decline bad-fit business and explain why

  • Based in AEST/AEDT or NZST; legal right to work in Australia or New Zealand

  • Willing to travel ~40% in-region plus 1–2 US trips per year

  • Existing network in AU/NZ joinery, construction or manufacturing

  • Experience representing a region for an offshore-headquartered company
