Building a sustainable future, together.

At WSP, we design the future of our communities. As one of the world’s leading engineering and professional services firms, we bring together expertise across transport and infrastructure, buildings, energy, environment, water and advisory. Across Central Europe, we combine local knowledge with international reach to deliver projects that create a positive, lasting impact for clients, communities and the environment.

The Power & Energy Services team supports the development of infrastructure, energy and industrial projects in Italy and abroad. We are strengthening the team with a Geometra who can bring solid CAD and cadastral expertise to a multidisciplinary and international working environment.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Geometra specialising in CAD and cadastral activities to join our Power & Energy Services team in Italy. In this role, you will support infrastructure, energy and industrial projects through CAD-based technical drafting and the preparation and management of cadastral documentation.

You will work closely with engineers, architects, environmental specialists and Project Managers, contributing to the coordinated delivery of infrastructure, energy and industrial projects in Italy and abroad. The exact scope of the role can be adapted depending on the successful candidate’s experience, seniority and technical background.

How you will make an impact

Your work will support the Power & Energy Services team and its multidisciplinary project delivery, helping us deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients and communities.

· Technical drafting: Prepare, develop and update AutoCAD drawings, including site layouts, plans, sections, construction details and as-built drawings.

· Cadastral documentation: Manage cadastral records, floor plans, map extracts and consistency checks, and support cadastral updates.

· Land and property support: Review cadastral maps and property documentation for technical due diligence, land acquisition, easements and site availability assessments.

· Project documentation: Collect, verify and organise technical, topographical and territorial data, and prepare documentation for permitting processes and administrative submissions.

· Multidisciplinary delivery: Support quantity take-offs and cost estimates when required, collaborate with project teams, and ensure deliverables are accurate, complete and aligned with company standards and agreed deadlines.

The team around you

You will be part of the multidisciplinary and international Power & Energy Services team, working across infrastructure, energy and industrial projects in Italy and abroad and supported by WSP’s wider technical and professional network.

The culture: A collaborative, inclusive and innovation-oriented environment where multidisciplinary teams work together across technical specialisms.
The projects: Infrastructure, energy and industrial projects requiring accurate technical drafting and cadastral support.
The opportunity: Continuous learning, professional development and international exposure within a global engineering consultancy.

What you will bring to the role

We focus on the essential qualifications, skills and experience needed for success, while welcoming different technical backgrounds and career paths.

· A Technical Diploma as Geometra or an equivalent technical qualification.

· Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in a technical practice, engineering consultancy, construction company or similar environment.

· Strong AutoCAD proficiency, hands-on cadastral experience, and the ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, infrastructure and topographical drawings.

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with BIM methodologies and Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, PriMus, QGIS or ArcGIS, as well as topographical surveys, graphical data processing, photomontages, visual simulations, permitting, expropriation or land acquisition processes, will be considered an advantage.

· Professional proficiency communicating in Italian and conversational English.

· Accuracy, operational autonomy, organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for someone with strong technical judgement who wants to keep growing through complex, meaningful projects. You will contribute expertise, share knowledge and help strengthen the quality of our work across multidisciplinary teams.
