Search Engine Evaluator – German Speakers

Location: Remote – Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia or Turkey

Schedule: Flexible, approximately 10–15 hours per work cycle

Frequency: Work may be available once or twice per month

Minimum age: 18 years old

About the Role

We are looking for detail-oriented, tech-savvy German speakers to participate in a remote search engine evaluation project.

In this role, you will review two sets of search results presented side by side for the same query. Using detailed project guidelines, you will compare the results and determine which option provides the most relevant and useful experience based on the user’s search intent.

This flexible, work-from-home opportunity may be particularly suitable for students, freelancers, or individuals seeking occasional project-based work who have a strong interest in technology and regularly use search engines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and compare two sets of search engine results for the same query.
• Determine which set of results better satisfies the user’s search intent.
• Evaluate results for relevance, usefulness and overall quality.
• Assign ratings and provide feedback according to project guidelines.
• Apply evaluation criteria accurately and consistently.
• Complete assigned tasks within the required timelines.
• Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must currently and permanently reside in one of the following countries: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey
• Native or fluent German-language proficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Regular familiarity with search engines and online research.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess search results for relevance and usefulness.
• Ability to understand and consistently follow detailed written guidelines.
• Access to a personal computer and a stable internet connection.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability to complete approximately 10–15 hours of work during each project cycle, with work potentially available once or twice per month.
