Our success is built on long-standing business relationships, deep industry expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence across global markets.

By joining our team, you become part of a strong, international network that combines long-term corporate stability with dynamic, modern trading operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, accurate, and proactive Credit Control Assistant (m/f/d) to join our dedicated 5-member Finance team in Frankfurt am Main.

In this multifaceted role, you will bridge day-to-day financial administration and proactive risk management. You will take ownership of maintaining essential master data, coordinating with external credit insurers, monitoring customer credit limits, and ensuring that our receivables are collected efficiently and within strict deadlines. If you thrive in a structured environment where precision, clear communication, and deadline adherence are valued, this role offers an ideal platform to broaden your financial expertise while making a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities & Core Tasks

  • Master Data Management & Administration:

    • Accurately create, update, and maintain customer and supplier master data in SAP in strict compliance with internal policies and quality standards.
    • Perform routine audits of master data records to ensure continuous data integrity across financial systems.
  • Credit Limit & Insurance Management:

    • Liaise directly with trade credit insurance partners to secure, review, and maintain optimal credit insurance coverage for our portfolio.
    • Establish, adjust, and monitor credit limits for new and existing customers and suppliers based on internal risk guidelines and insurer recommendations.
  • Accounts Receivable & Risk Mitigation:

    • Support the clarification, monitoring, and collection of overdue customer receivables in a professional, firm, and solutions-oriented manner.
    • Coordinate closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment discrepancies early and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:

    • Prepare regular internal credit control reports, tracking key receivables metrics and risk exposures for management review.
    • Conduct monthly inventory reviews and compile comprehensive inventory reports to support accurate working capital tracking.
    • Monitor company-wide adherence to internal credit policies, standards, and risk management guidelines, escalating exceptions when necessary.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Education: Successfully completed commercial vocational training / apprenticeship (kaufmännische Berufsausbildung).
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in credit control, credit management, accounts receivable, or a closely related commercial finance role.
  • Language Proficiency: Business fluent in both German (C1) and English (C1) (written and spoken), enabling smooth communication with international partners and colleagues.
  • IT Skills: Solid working knowledge of the standard MS Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Core Competencies: Strong numerical fluency, high attention to detail, clear communication, and a constructive, team-minded approach.
  • Work Style: High degree of self-motivation, reliability, and assertiveness when appropriate, combined with a positive, dependable approach to recurring core financial procedures under tight deadlines.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Practical experience working with SAP (ERP software).
  • Knowledge of additional modern languages.

    • Attractive base salary ranging between €50,000 and €60,000 gross p.a.
    • Annual performance-based variable bonus (approx. 15%).

    • 28 days of paid annual vacation to ensure ample rest and personal time.
