We are seeking applications for the position of GIS Expert for Upcoming Zonal Development Project In Uttar Pradesh.

Missions/Main Duties

• Develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases for planning and development projects.
• Collect, process, integrate, and analyze spatial and non-spatial data from multiple sources, including satellite imagery, aerial photography, GPS surveys, and government databases.
• Prepare thematic maps, land use maps, zoning maps, infrastructure maps, environmental maps, and other GIS-based outputs required for planning studies.
• Support the preparation of Master Plans, Zonal Development Plans, and sectoral planning studies through spatial analysis and geospatial modeling.
• Perform geospatial analysis related to land use, transportation networks, infrastructure systems, environmental constraints, and urban growth patterns.
• Coordinate the acquisition, validation, and management of spatial datasets from various stakeholders and agencies.
• Generate cartographic outputs, spatial visualizations, and interactive maps for technical reports, presentations, and stakeholder consultations.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with GIS standards and project requirements.
• Assist multidisciplinary teams by providing GIS-based analytical and decision-support inputs.
• Prepare GIS methodologies, metadata documentation, and technical reports.

Profile/Skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Remote Sensing, Geo-Informatics, Geography or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a GIS Expert in urban planning, regional planning, infrastructure planning, or related projects.
• Proven experience in the preparation of Master Plans, Zonal Development Plans, Land Use Plans, Regional Plans, Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Plans, or similar spatial planning assignments.
• Proficiency in GIS and geospatial software, including:
• ArcGIS
• QGIS or equivalent GIS platforms.
• Experience with: Remote Sensing applications and image processing GPS/GNSS data collection and processing Spatial database management tools Web GIS platforms and geospatial visualization tools (preferred)
